Rapper set to hit the states with Bring Me the Horizon this spring

Fresh off the release of last week's "HEAD GXNE," U.K. rapper Scarlxrd is back with another new single off his forthcoming LP, Infinity, due March 15th. Like NYC duo City Morgue, the MC often gets classified as "trap metal" for his abrasive style, which frequently incorporates down-tuned guitars, mosh-ready beats and/or hardcore-inflected screamed vocals. The last are vividly showcased on Scarlxrd's new song, "STFU.," which features the vein-bulging roar-along refrain "Shut the fuck up!"

"I feel like a villain," the rapper spits on the track. "No remorse, I run'em out/I had to change my digits/New niggas acting up/I just mind my business/Mask off, dressed down/You know my position/Turn my shit up fucking loud." The song should be a hit with fans live when Scarlxrd comes stateside supporting Bring Me the Horizon on their May U.S. tour — see dates here.
