See Turnstile Absolutely Rip Their TV Debut on 'Seth Meyers'

Baltimore hardcore innovators brought "Mystery" and "T.L.C." to 'Late Night'

Turnstile are unstoppable. The Revolver cover stars put out 2021's best hardcore album, as well as the year's third best record overall. They played the most insane hardcore show since the pandemic. They made a goddamn short film. And now they've done what no hardcore band in recent memory has ever been able to do: play on prime-time television.

The Baltimore visionaries were the musical guests on last night's (December 15th) episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers, where they ripped through the Glow On singles, "Mystery" and "T.L.C. (Turnstile Love Connection)," in front of a national audience. What hardcore band does that? Turnstile do, and naturally, they fucking killed it. Frontman Brendan Yates was up there dancing like a member of Earth, Wind & Fire. Drummer Daniel Fang stuck to his usual stage get-up and ripped his shirt off before they played the first notes. Best of all, they sounded absolutely awesome, and likely gave thousands of people who'd never heard of them before their first taste. It was awesome, and you can watch the performance above via YouTube.
