See Turnstile Skate, Destroy, Bring Love in Crazy New Two-Song Video

Baltimore hardcore band drop latest visual in support of awesome 'Time & Space' LP

Turnstile have been enjoying a breakout year, having released their massive Time & Space in February to universal acclaim. They're continuing to support the record with a seemingly endless string of raucous gigs (including an upcoming tour with Every Time I Die) and, today, with a new two-song video for "Bomb" and "I Don't Wanna Be Blind." The clip was directed by prolific skate video director Atiba Jefferson, and it's a majorly colorful affair, following a group of skaters (with cameos by the likes of Trapped Under Ice's Justice Tripp) who take revenge against a car for driving over a bouquet of flowers left on the street. They eventually catch up to the vehicle, driven by Turnstile bassist Franz Lyons, and put a major pounding to it, covering it with flowers as it explodes in a rainbow of smoke over the fading Los Angeles skyline, which is some kind of beautiful metaphor for what the band sounds like.

"Working on this project was amazing," Jefferson commented to Highsnobiety. "We planted a seed and didn't know what kind of plant was going to grow, but once it grew it was beautiful. I'm very proud of this video and it was great to work so closely with my friends. There wasn't one disagreement, we all came together and it worked great, the cast, crew and band were the best to work with."
