Turnstile are just late-night fixtures now. The Baltimore hardcore stars — at this point, quite possibly the single most popular band in the genre's history — played Late Night With Seth Meyers last year, Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier this year, and last night (May 23rd) made it three-for-three with a performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The band banged out the Glow On highlight "Blackout" at the high velocity that they would in a packed-out club setting, with frontman Brendan Yates dancing around the stage and his bandmates furiously headbanging like the pros they are. Amazingly, Turnstile's beaming punk rippers sound as at-home in a studio in front of pro cameras as they do on a flooded stage full of leaping teenagers. They're truly a generational talent.
