Groove-metal upstarts drop grisly clip ahead of new 'Gaining Purpose Through Passionate Hatred' LP

Los Angeles groove-metal outfit Twitching Tongues have announced a new album. Gaining Purpose Through Passionate Hatred, the follow-up to 2015's Disharmony, is out March 9th via Metal Blade Records.

In addition to reveling the album artwork and track listing, the band have dropped off a grisly visual for its first single, "Harakiri." Directed by David Brodsky, it finds a disheveled Uncle Sam committing ritualistic suicide (otherwise known as "Harakiri" — cue titles!) with the help of frontman Colin Young, who decapitates him with a samurai sword — and then pivots right back to band practice with Uncle Sam's beheaded corpse bleeding out at his feet. Hope you aren't squeamish!

Gaining Purpose Through Passionate Hatred can be pre-ordered here. Find the album artwork and track listing below.
