See U.K. Metallic Hardcore Upstarts Leeched's Stunning, Gnarly Live Session

For fans of Cult Leader, Nails, Full of Hell, Godflesh, getting your head caved in

Manchester-based trio Leeched are making some of the darkest, filthiest, grindiest metallic hardcore around right now. If you're a fan of bands like Full of Hell, Nails and Trap Them, you should blast their fantastic debut album, 2018's You Took the Sun When You Left, at high volume immediately. Or check out the professionally-shot, multi-camera, 11-minute live session that the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere right here right now.

"We are excited to release something that we have always wanted to do," says vocalist-bassist Laurie Morbey. "For people who have never seen Leeched live, this is a chance to hear the band in its raw form and to introduce our new guitarist Joe [Clayton]."

Shot in their hometown at Spirit Studios last year by Shaun Hodson of Loki Films, the gnarly black-and-white performance video only accentuates the band's brand of gritty metallic hardcore with its strains of grind and industrial. Watch above as Morbey, Clayton, guitarist Judd Langley and drummer Tom Hansell completely obliterate "Cripple the Herd/Rope," "The Stone and the Steel," "A Mouth Full of Dirt" and "Guilt," all tracks from You Took the Sun When You Left.
