Sasscore crew SeeYouSpaceCowboy are just a couple weeks away from dropping their sophomore album, The Romance of Affliction, on November 5th. So far, we've heard two crushing singles from the record, "Misinterpreting Constellations," and "Intersecting Storylines to the Same Tragedy," and today (October 20th) they're back with another that showcases their catchier side.
Continuing the band's love for long-ass titles, "The End to a Brief Moment of Lasting Intimacy" is unmistakably SYSC with its tense riffage harried screams from frontwoman Connie Sgarbossa. However, it also features a supremely catchy hook and only one breakdown compared to the handful that they usually litter their songs with, putting the layered clean vocals at the forefront to usher in a slight stylistic shift that suits them extremely well.
The song also comes with a music video that features quite a few moments of intimacy between various partners. It's all in service to the track's lyrical message about not confusing carnal desire for romance, but the visual is unabashedly....well, it's sexy! Check it out above via YouTube.
