Silent Planet experienced every touring band's nightmare earlier this morning. While traveling across Wyoming during a blinding snowstorm on November 3rd, the metalcore band's van flipped over and landed upside down on the side of the road.
Fortunately, the band have confirmed on Twitter that all the passengers onboard are OK despite a few bumps and bruises. Frontman Garrett Russell endured a head wound and was transported to the hospital to get stitched up, but he assured fans that he didn't seem to be seriously injured.
Unfortunately, Silent Planet won't be making it to their show tonight in Salt Lake City, UT, which is totally understandable. We're sending good vibes their way and hope they stay safe and sound throughout the remainder of their tour with The Plot In You, Cane Hill and Avoid, which technically kicks off this evening.
