Slaughter to Prevail: See Violent Anime Video for Furious New Song "Zavali Ebalo"

Russian deathcore crew's nu-metal-inflected crusher arrives with 'Berserk' tribute video

Revolver has teamed with Slaughter to Prevail for an exclusive, limited splatter vinyl edition of their new LP, Kostolom. It's limited to 250 — order yours now!

Back in May, Russian deathcore dealers Slaughter to Prevail announced their sophomore album, Kostolom, with the nu-metal-inflected song "Baba Yaga" (which arrived with a seriously NSFW video.) Today (July 15th) the Yekaterinburg crew shared another single from the new album "Zavali Ebalo."

The new cut continues in the nu-metal vein with bouncy, crush-everything riffs and singer Aleksandr "Alex Terrible" Shikolai unleashing a slew of vocal approaches: from guttural to whispered to hardcore-meets-rap barks.

Alex Terrible unveiled "Zavali Ebalo" on his YouTube channel along with a violent anime visual featuring scenes from the 1997 series Beserk, based on characters created by Japanese artist Kentaro Miura's manga series of the same name. Miura died on May 6th of this year, and Terrible posted the anime cut with the message: "R.I.P Miura."

Kostolom is set for release August 13th via Sumerian Records, and pre-orders are available now in a variety of formats. These include a Revolver-exclusive "Half Opaque Brown/Half Black With Black Heavy Splatter" vinyl variant limited to 250. It won't last long so grab yours from our shop while you still can.
