We still have around three months to go before Slipknot release their next, as-yet-untitled album on August 9th, but the Nine are keeping excitement high with a newly announced Jimmy Kimmel Live! performance scheduled for Friday, May 17th. If you can't make it there in person, the band's appearance is scheduled to air at 11:35 p.m. EST on ABC.

The Iowa masked metal outfit took to Twitter earlier today (May 6th) to announce the event along with a (not-yet-active) ticketing link and the hashtag #WeAreNotYourKind, one they've brought out several times since the release of last year's single "All Out Life" featured the lyric. Billed as an "outdoor mini-concert," each Jimmy Kimmel Live! show sees big-name artists playing short and sweet sets at no cost to the fans. Check back here to see when the tickets will be available to the public, and register for a 1iota account using your email to get access to the performance. See this page for full details on the process and get to it — tickets always go fast when they become available.
