Slipknot: Go Behind the Scenes Into Making of Surprise "All Out Life" Video

Maggots who answered open casting call had no idea what they were walking into

After putting out a secretive casting call for a shoot related to the 20th anniversary of their 1999 self-titled debut album, fans who showed up for the occasion were delighted to find out that they'd be included in the band's first new music video since 2015's "Killpop." Newly released footage shows Slipknot percussionist and the video's director M. Shawn "Clown" Crahan addressing the crowd in their white jumpsuits and bloody skull logo masks, telling them, "Listen, today's a weird day because you don't even know what it is, and that's all I can tell you. So with that, I'm gonna tell you a secret: Today is the first day for Slipknot's next thing. It starts today with you guys."

The excited crowd breaks into applause, and Clown asks for their cooperation and assistance as a montage of the day's antics ensues. He adds, "Be our culture. Have each others' back. Make me proud, make yourselves proud, make the band proud, and let's get this done. Be intense for me." Fans who missed out on the chance to be there can now see what went into the creation of Slipknot's surprise Halloween video for "All Out Life." As you'd expect, it looks to have been a wild time.
