Sure, Slipknot played a two-song mini-set on the outdoor stage of Jimmy Kimmel Live! last month, but it's been a long 944 days since the last proper 'Knot show — at least by drummer Jay Weinberg's count. The Iowa Nine ended that drought with a characteristically completely fucking mental headlining performance at Rockfest in Hyvinkää, Finland, today (June 7th). Complete with their new masks and their mystery second percussionist, the band tore through an unhinged career-spanning, 18-song set including their latest singles, Halloween's "All Out Life" and May's "Unsainted." Slipknot's European run is scheduled to continue through July 5th's Resurrection Fest in Spain, after which the band will hit FEQ in Quebec City, Canada, before returning to the States to lead the inaugural Knotfest Roadshow, which launches July 26th and features Volbeat, Gojira and Behemoth playing in support. Shortly after that kickoff date, on August 9th, the Nine are set to drop their beyond-highly anticipated sixth album, We Are Not Your Kind.
