UPDATE: Slipknot have announced their seventh album, THE END, SO FAR, and debuted new single "The Dying Song (Time to Sing)." Get all the details here.

Slipknot have been building the hype for their new album up to a fever pitch. Shawn "Clown" Crahan has dubbed the band's forthcoming material "God music." Corey Taylor described it as a "heavier version of Vol. 3." According to drummer Jay Weinberg, the band "turned up the dials on experimentation" for opus No. 7.

The Iowan metal juggernaut has been hinting at an imminent announcement, and now it looks like it's finally right around the corner. Today (July 19th), Slipknot hit their socials with a short, career-spanning video that ends in the image of a mysterious bloody masked face peering through a partially opened doorway and a snippet what sounds like a new song. The caption reads, "The beginning of The End," and there's a link to their site, slipknot1.com, which is all black, but for a list of four times: 4 PM | 7 PM | MIDNIGHT | 1 AM.

Meanwhile, Reddit is abuzz with rumors that the album title (reportedly, The End for Now...), cover art and tracklist have leaked. See below.

Stayed tuned. Shit is getting real.
