Slipknot's Shawn "Clown" Crahan Releases Statement on Daughter Gabrielle's Death

On May 18th, the daughter of Slipknot's Shawn "Clown" Crahan, Gabrielle, passed away at age 22. Today, May 22nd, the percussionist released the following statement:

"Firstly: Chantel, Alexandria, Gage, Simon and I would like to thank everyone for the endless amount of love, prayers, thoughts, and kindness we have been receiving," Crahan outlined in a post shared by the band's official social channels. "While it is not possible for me to read and respond to each individual message & comment right now, I want you to know that we can feel the energy shared and we are so grateful. You have all proven that there is empathy, positivity, and strength in this community that we call humanity here on this earth." 

He concludes with information on Gabrielle's funeral, to be held Sunday, May 26th. Interested parties can send flowers to the Scottish Rite Consistory in Des Moines, Iowa, and the city's Iles Funeral Home will be accepting cards and condolences on behalf of the family. Read the full statement below.
