Playing in Slipknot is dangerous business. The nu-metal freakzoids are infamous for going so hard onstage that broken bones, blood and nasty sprains are just part of their daily lifestyles, and now the Nine's latest member, Tortilla Man, has received his wounded wings. The percussionist (government name Michael Pfaff) who replaced Chris Fehn in 2019 and just introduced a terrifying new mask along with the announcement of Slipknot's upcoming album, THE END, SO FAR, shared photos on his Instagram of a gnarly ankle injury he suffered on tour a couple nights back.

"Slipknot...If you don't get hurt once in a while, you're probably not doing it right," Pfaff wrote in the caption of an Instagram story picturing his ankle wrapped in bandages and suspended by a bag of ice. "See you Tuesday, Verona," he added, assuring fans that he'd be up and ready to go.

In another picture posted to his main feed, Pfaff showed off the painful looking bump and bruises covering a good portion of his foot, but like any true member of the 'Knot, laughed off the injury and promised once again that he'll be performing tonight (June 26th) in Spain.

"Ooopsy. Should have practiced," he wrote with a couple of crying laughing emojis. "I'm aight! See you tomorrow Verona!!!!!!!"

It's unclear exactly what caused Pfaff's injury, but Slipknot posted photos of the percussionist doing a wicked flip just a couple days earlier from a show in Athens, so clearly he was doing some risky shit in the heat of the moment. Clearly, he thinks the injuries were worth whatever stunt caused he maneuvered that caused them. See his battle scar pics below.
