It's hard to imagine Wee Man having any dark days at all — the Jackass star is also one of the most positive dudes we've interviewed. But permeating a 24-7 positive mental attitude takes work and Wee Man has faced his struggles head-on, with the help of his favorite bands. "I come from a metal and punk background," Wee Man tells Revolver. "Most of my favorite songs get me through any day and amp me up to conquer anything! So when I have black days, it's usually because someone pissed me off, or something didn't go the way I had planned it, too, and the outcome was beyond my control."

Earlier this year, the megahit prankster and skateboarder shared stories with Revolver about meeting Ozzy Osbourne and going to Disneyland with Slayer. And so, for Revolver's ongoing "Songs for Black Days" series, presented in partnership with Hope for the Day, we asked Wee Man for his top list of songs to inspire those people in need of help. Below, Wee Man offers his list for dark times.

Black Sabbath – "War Pigs"

Now in darkness world stops turning,
Ashes where the bodies burning
No more War Pigs have the power,
Hand of God has struck the hour
Day of judgement, God is calling
On their knees the war pigs crawling,
Begging mercies for their sins
Satan, laughing, spreads his wings
Oh Lord yeah...

These lyrics amp me up and make me feel like there is no one out there better than me. No matter the situation, you can always make the outcome what you want, and laugh at the idiots who try to block you from happiness. Smile and never let anyone have control over you.

Black Sabbath – "Supernaut"

Got no religion, don't need no friends
Got all I want and I don't need to pretend
Don't try to reach me, 'cause I'd tear up your mind
I've seen the future and I've left it behind.

Don't stereotype me. Don't put me in any class and definitely don't try to be a friend of mine without me knowing you. This song is a middle finger — a big ole Fuck You to the world! And flipping off the world makes me go from feeling bad to feeling rad!

Circle Jerks – "Don't Care"

Don't care
Where you from anyway
I don't care
Lots of money anyway
I don't care
What you say anyway
I don't care
Lots of clothes anyway
I don't care
I don't care
Don't care
Nice car anyway
Don't care
Nice parent anyway
Don't care
Nice home anyway
Don't care
Lots of money anyway
Don't care, don't care

This is the entire song! That's punk: fast, loud and straight to the point. At times when I feel like I can't have this or that, I can't do this or that — I remember this song and put it on to remember, "Oh yeah, I don't care." The truth is, you can wake up and do whatever you want. You can accomplish your goals. You don't need fancy things to make you feel good. For me, this song is simply about being you and being OK with that.

Slayer – "Repentless"

I hate the life, hate the fame, hate fuckin' scene
Pissing match of egos, fuck their vanity
Ain't got the time, I don't want anything from you
Feeding on my tolerance is all you fuckin' do
No looking back, no regrets, no apologies
What you get is what you see
We're all killing ourselves a little more everyday
Live fast
On high
Repentless
Let it ride

Kerry King's lyrics on the song "Repentless" have this "worldly competition" vibe. No matter where you are in life, someone is trying to compete with you. But his message is very unapologetically about not giving a fuck when it comes to comparing yourself to others. That's a huge lift of your shoulders once you realize that you're only in competition with yourself. Life is about being the best version of you, so stop and think about that while you rock out to this song — guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Don't hold back!!

OFF! – "Black Thoughts"

I can't stop
I can't stop
I can't stop
Thinking black thoughts
I can't stop
I can't stop
I can't stop
Thinking black thoughts
I crash into a wall
No feelings at all
How far will I fall
Before I hit the bottom?
Gotta get out before I'm sunk
Out of this glue, out of this rut
What the fuck?!
Gotta stop thinking black thoughts

Another full-throttle punk song! This actually is perfect for this. It pretty much says, "Get your mind right." You know you need to, or else you're just going to stay right where you are. At first glance, the lyrics may seem negative. But I see the positive side of it — an opportunity to take control of your mind and find your way back to joy and happiness. When I'm feeling those black thoughts, I crank my favorite music, go out and skate, and abolish those feelings.
