Swedish Satanic-rock troupe Ghost have come a long, long way since their cult 2010 debut, Opus Eponymous, to their latest LP, Impera, Revolver's top album of 2022.

One of the many things that have helped buoyed mastermind Tobias Forge and Co. to their current chart-topping, arena-headlining, award-winning success is a host of famous fans, including Dave Grohl, James Hetfield and Duff McKagan. Count among this murderers' row Courtney LaPlante.

We asked the Spiritbox singer to pick her favorite Ghost song — see her selection below.

"Spillways"

My favorite Ghost song is "Spillways." It is a master class in songwriting. The progression and key changes are so interesting to me, and the guitar riffs are huge. There is something hopeful yet tragic-feeling at the same time. It was a very beautiful moment in their set that I looked forward to watching every night [during our 2022 tour opening for them].
