Chicago post-metallers the Atlas Moth are set to release their fourth full-length LP, Coma Noir, later this week. Produced by Sanford Parker (Eyehategod, Voivod), the effort marks the experimentalists' first album with new drummer Mike Miczek (also of Broken Hope), as well as their first release for Prosthetic Records.

With Coma Noir's February 9th release date quickly approaching, the Atlas Moth have kindly bestowed Revolver with a full stream of the nine-track, 48-minute epic. Listen below, and read on for their tour dates with Royal Thunder and Mirrors of Psychic Warfare. Pre-order Coma Noir here.

The Atlas Moth frontman David Kush laid out the album's themes in a recent interview with Metal Hammer. "The concept of cults and cult mentality is explored throughout Coma Noir," he said. "You could even say that we as a band and our fans are collectively a cult. The psychedelic culture is a cult of sorts. Religion can be seen as a cult. We aren't commenting on if they are good or bad, just pointing out that when people believe blindly in anything as truth, they will close themselves off to the greater cult we all fall into, which is just 'human beings'."

"We write these songs in part to inspire others to think for themselves and be entertained, but mostly to remind ourselves of the journey we all have taken to come to these realizations," Kush concludes.
