Pennsylvania outfit's latest 'Phantom Anthem' cut blends metalcore, djent and post-rock

August Burns Red are set to release their new album, Phantom Anthem, this Friday, October 6th, via Fearless. On the heels of previously-shared tracks "Invisible Enemy" and "The Frost," the Pennsylvania metalcore stalwarts have revealed "Hero of the Half Truth," an intricate and diverse new cut off the forthcoming eighth studio LP (which can be pre-ordered here). The five-minute anthem sharpens and assimilates the band's various stylistic inclinations into a soaring collage of metalcore, djent, post-hardcore and post-rock — bricolage at its most badass.
