Surviving Linkin Park Members to Reunite at Chester Bennington Tribute Concert

Plus, band premieres bittersweet "One More Light" music video

Linkin Park will honor their late frontman Chester Bennington next month with a special, one-night-only benefit concert in Los Angeles. The event, to be held October 27th at the Hollywood Bowl, will mark the first time the band's five remaining members have appeared onstage together since Bennington committed suicide on July 20th, with proceeds benefitting Music for Relief's One More Light Fund, founded in his honor. They'll be joined by multiple, as-of-yet-unrevealed special guests. Pre-sale for tickets begins tomorrow, September 19th; more information regarding the concert is available on the band's website.

To accompany the benefit's announcement, Linkin Park have premiered a bittersweet, dramatic live visual for "One More Light," the title track off last May's studio album. (The band didn't originally plan on making it a single, but changed their minds after witnessing fans' powerful connections to the song in the wake of Bennington's death.) Directed by the surviving Linkin Park members and their videographer, Mark Fiore, the powerful video pays tribute to their late bandleader, as well as the fans.

"It has been incredibly emotional to work on this, and especially to watch it," Linkin Park turntablist Joe Hahn explains. "I feel that by doing it, we not only faced some of our biggest fears, but it enabled us to use our talents to bring some light to people who need it. As we move forward to the Hollywood Bowl show and beyond, I think about the people who connect with the band, outside and inside our circle. This video is a gesture of good will to the people who want that connection."

"One More Light was written with the intention of sending love to those who lost someone. We now find ourselves on the receiving end," adds Mike Shinoda. "In memorial events, art, videos, and images, fans all over the world have gravitated towards this song as their declaration of love and support for the band and the memory of our dear friend, Chester. We are so very grateful and can't wait to see you again."
