See Texas Hippie Coalition's Fun, Tarantino-Inspired New "Moonshine" Video

"Grindhouse-style" visual is full of guns, booze and double-crosses

"Red Dirt Metal" crew Texas Hippie Coalition (THC, for those in the know) are gearing up to release their sixth album, High in the Saddle, tomorrow, May 31st, via eOne, but they're getting the party started early with the premiere of their new video, "Moonshine," right here, right now. The clip captures the group — led by Big Dad Ritch, singer, self-proclaimed "best fisherman on the planet," and CEO of a medical marijuana grow — in their comfort zone, filling a smoky barroom with swaggering, Southern-fried groove metal, while all sorts of wild action swirls around them, complete with free-flowing booze and badass, gun-toting women.

"I've always wanted to make a Quentin Tarantino–type video, flashing forward and back," Big Dad Ritch says of the video. "Grainy and sexy like an old B-movie. Grindhouse-style. That's the direction we took with the video."
