Thoughtcrimes: See Former Dillinger Drummer Thrash in Convulsive New Video

Billy Rymer's hardcore band freaks the fuck out in "Wedlock Waltz" visual

Revolver has teamed with Thoughtcrimes for a vinyl reissue of their 2019 EP, Tap Night, on "black and red with heavy white splatter" wax. There're only 150 copies — order yours before they're gone!

Thoughtcrimes are the new-ish hardcore band featuring former Dillinger Escape Plan drummer Billy Rymer, and today (October 8th) Pure Noise Records have reissued their 2019 debut EP, Tap Night, with a couple new tracks.

One of those is the barn-burning "Wedlock Waltz," and we're proud to be premiering its accompanying video, in which the band thrash and convulse around a practice space while raging through the song. The whole thing is captured on shaky-cam footage and doused in colorful effects with dark shadows, giving it an uneasy and anxious feeling that totally matches the vibe of the song.

Musically, Thoughtcrimes are continuing the lineage of bands like Every Time I Die, The Chariot, early Converge and of course the Dillinger Escape Plan. It's heavy, spastic and memorable all at once. Watch and listen above via YouTube.

Tap Night is out now via Pure Noise Records and we have an exclusive vinyl variant on "black and red with heavy white splatter" wax. There're only 150 copies — order yours before they're gone!
