Vinnie Paul and Dimebag Darrell were hardly heavy music's only team of high-power sibling bandmates, but they were possibly the best, and almost certainly the most fun. The Abbott brothers started jamming together as a kids, and they never stopped — through the dramatic highs and lows of Pantera, and the prematurely cut-short rise of Damageplan — until Darrell's senseless murder in 2004. Since news of Paul's passing broke Friday night (June 22nd), the phrase "together again" has been repeated many times, as fans imagine the two of them reunited in death — brothers, bandmates and best friends — inseparable as they were in life.
