Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman announced the end of the 24-year-running festival earlier this year, citing changes in the festival industry, declining ticket sales, and a "shrinking pool of bands" as factors responsible for its demise. He portended an end to touring festivals at a Q&A at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Ohio earlier this month, reports Cleveland.com. "Warped Tour will probably be the last touring festival, to be honest," he reportedly told the crowd. "I hope I'm wrong, but I really think it's going to be the last one."

This past summer, Revolver spent a couple days with Gwar at the Vans Warped Tour's San Diego and Pomona, California, stops to chronicle the (very NSFW) madness, from bloody showers to presidential assassinations in effigy. Watch below.
