Watch Beavis and Butt-Head Take on Danzig's "Mother '93"

"This song is so good they had to do it twice"

"Hey, Butt-Head, didn't this song have another video?" "Yeah, this song is so good they had to do it twice." The song in question is Danzig's "Mother." The speakers in question are Beavis and Butt-Head, who, in 1993, sat on their iconic couch and watched the music video for the then-newly released Thrall-Demonsweatlive remix of the Danzig I cut. Dubbed "Mother '93," the remix boasts extra reverb and a slight tweak of the guitar solo, and it was this version, released almost six years after the original, that would break Danzig big.

Beavis and Butt-Head played their part in introducing the former Misfits singer to the MTV masses with their hilarious viewing. "I wonder what this guy does, like, when, you know, he not doing this," ponders Butt-Head at one point, to which Beavis respond, "I bet he just scores with chicks and then just, like, fights a lot." Yes, but he reads books, too. Watch above.
