Body Count — the crossover-thrash outfit fronted by rapper/actor Ice-T — have shared an uplifting new music video for "This Is Why We Ride," off last March's Bloodlust. The clip, which directed by none other than Treach of Naughty by Nature fame, finds the band jamming under a highway on the snow-lined streets of Newark, New Jersey, by day and hanging out with their friends at night. To further underscore the video's communal theme, Treach cuts the performance footage with candid shots of the neighborhood, including plenty of kids. While we're on the subject of all things family-friendly: Unlike Ice and Co.'s last proper music video, "Here I Go Again," "This Is Why We Ride" doesn't feature any slit throats or gore-splattered straightjackets, making it a rare example of a safe-for-work Body Count video!
