While Chelsea Wolfe's Hiss Spun has been out for over a year now, the singer's label Sargent House has just now released a lush, vermilion video for the album's intense closing track "Scrape." Featuring a tall-heeled Wolfe clicking on a distortion pedal with a shiny patent stiletto before launching into a darkly passionate act complete with rolling on the ground, her signature peeking-through-hair direct into the camera eye contact, and flashing, overexposed footage of a dungeon-esque performance. Scenes filmed specifically for the video are interspersed among actual concert clips captured during the singer's recent October tour.
Today (November 14th) is Wolfe's 35th birthday, as celebrated on Sargent House's Instagram who say, "Happy Birthday to you @cchelseawwolfe you are a force of nature and we love you so very much - what better way to celebrate you than to release a new video for 'Scrape.'" Wolfe's band will be back on the road soon in Europe, kicking off a two and a half week run in Glasgow, Scotland on December 2nd supporting A Perfect Circle.
