Watch Cholo Goth Duo Prayers' Dramatic "Edge of the Blade" Video

Chicano electro-rock group Prayers are widely credited as the creators of "Cholo Goth," an innovative hip-hop/darkwave crossover rooted in both dark mysticism and the grim reality of vocalist Leafar Seyer's experiences as a gang member. On the heels of the duo's new full-length, Baptism of Thieves, released last month, Prayers have linked up with Revolver to premiere a stark, moody black-and-white visual for "Edge of the Blade," one of the record's biggest standouts. Directed by Patrick Wilcox, the clip finds Seyer stalking about the ruins of an abandoned church, joined by a CGI serpent slithering through the wreckage and by bandmate Dave Parley, who strikes a Jesus Christ pose.

Revolver joined Prayers on the set of the "Edge of the Blade" video to get a behind-the-scenes view into both the making of the clip and the band at large. You can watch the resulting original documentary, Prayers: Men of Gods, below:
