It's been a hell of a summer for Code Orange. Last month, after an intricate online scavenger-hunt-style roll-out, the Pittsburgh hardcore band revealed a new digital-only EP The Hurt Will Go On, featuring two of their most aggressive songs to date and a brutal industrial remix. One of their songs, "The Hunt," features a guest appearance by Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor delivering some of his most vicious vocals in quite a while.
The band is also currently embarked on their "The New Reality" headlining tour, where they've been performing "The Hurt." Hate5six.com was on hand to film their brutal run-through of the song at their June 24th show at the Union Transfer in Philadelphia, PA. (Watch at 31:00 mark in the video above.)
Taylor's guest part is taken over by Meyers, who's completely vicious in her delivery and gives some of her best harsh vocals yet. The rest of the song has a big-room feel to it, as each member of the band stomps around the stage to a huge crowd.
