Between their devastating latest album, Underneath, and a seemingly endless cavalcade of innovative livestreaming events, Code Orange staked their claim to 2020. This past weekend, the Pittsburgh metallic hardcore crew kicked down on the door on 2021, debuting the insane new animated music video for Underneath standout "Autumn and Carbine" during Adult Swim's Toonami broadcast. The CG clip, which hit the group's YouTube channel today (January 25th) and can be viewed above, was directed and animated by Code Orange's electronics guru Eric "Shade" Balderose and frontman Jami Morgan (a.k.a. NOWHERE2RUN Productions). It follows the quintet — rounded out by guitarist-vocalist Reba Meyers, guitarist Dominic Landolina and bassist Joe Goldman — as they act as the saviors of a dystopian future, spilling blood in the hope of creating a better world. If you dig the video, Code Orange have launched a limited-edition "Autumn and Carbine" shirt featuring the 3D incarnations of each band member seen in the clip — grab yours via the band's webstore.
