Watch Corey Taylor and Clown's Sons Cover Slipknot Songs With New Band

Griffin Taylor and Simon Crahan follow in fathers' footsteps

The pulse of the Maggots is strong with Griffin Taylor and Simon Crahan. The sons of Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor and his brother-in-arms M. Shawn "Clown" Crahan might not be old enough to drive yet, but they've long since earned their license to rock, as evidenced by remarkable new YouTube footage of them jamming with their newly formed, as-of-yet untitled rock band. Calling the four-piece's fiery reinterpretations of Slipknot staples "The Devil in I" and "Dead Memories" uncanny would be a huge understatement; give these guys five years, and they could be standing toe-to-toe with their famous fathers. Check out "The Devil in I" above, and "Dead Memories" below.

It's worth pointing out that this isn't the first time Griffin's played frontman. A few months before the budding musician's 15th birthday, he joined his father onstage at a Stone Sour concert to handle vocals for "Song 3." Check out footage of that stirring performance below, as well.

Corey Taylor recently gave fans an update on Slipknot's long-awaited follow-up to 2014's .5: The Gray Chapter, revealing that the record will "absolutely" arrive next year. He's already begun writing lyrics, a few of which were teased in a recent Instagram post.
