Dead Cross — the superest of supergroup featuring Mike Patton (Faith No More, et al), Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, Misfits), Justin Pearson (The Locust, Retox) and Michael Crain (Retox) — are currently spreading their spasmodic freakcore across Europe. Last night (July 9th), they shared a less spazzy but no less freaky take on Bauhaus' "Bela Lugosi's Dead," which they covered on their self-titled debut album, via Instagram. The stripped-down live rendition features Patton and Crain rocking out the goth classic open mic–style, just vocals and an acoustic guitar, though no insight was given as to the location of the intimate performance.
