Watch Dimebag Smash TV, Phil Anselmo Deodorize Peter Steele in Wild Pantera Video

Clip teases long-awaited fourth installment of groove-metal titans' beloved Home Videos series

Phil Anselmo has shared a teaser for the long-awaited fourth installment of Pantera's beloved home video series. The short clip finds the legendary groove-metal outfit rocking out, goofing off, taking shots, deodorizing late Type O Negative frontman Pete Steele, and getting into lots and lots of trouble; at one point, late guitarist Dimebag Darrell takes a baseball bat to a TV set before going on his merry way, as sparks fly. Anselmo didn't offer a release date for Pantera home video number four, but says it's "coming soon." The last installment, "3: Watch It Go", was released in 1997.

Our first look at Pantera's latest A/V smorgasbord arrives ahead of Dimevision Vol. 2: Roll With It or Get Rolled Over, Metal Blade's upcoming CD/DVD compilation of rarities and unreleased music from the guitarist's archives. Its 43 segments capture young Darrell's fiery tributes to Randy Rhoads, a supremely silly sleep-apnea mask fitting, and more.

Revolver recently sat down with Darrell's longtime girlfriend Rita Haney to discuss Dimevision Vol. 2 (out November 27th), which she curated from hours upon hours of A/V material. She spoke at length about her late partner's daredevil side, as showcased in Pantera's legendary home videos.

"It's funny," Haney said, "because later on, after Darrell's death, I ran into Johnny Knoxville at this tribute thing for Merle Haggard. Johnny himself told me, 'We all watched the Pantera home videos. Where do you think it came from?' So he confirmed it, which I thought was real cool. So we gave him a big thank-you in the credits for taking it to the next level."

Below, watch Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown join Anthrax for a brutal performance of Vulgar Display of Power crusher "This Love" at Revolver's Golden Gods Awards on May 2, 2013. And don't miss the end of the video, during which the guys unleash a bit of Slayer's "Raining Blood" in honor of Jeff Hanneman who had passed earlier that day.
