Watch "Drug Pop" Duo Lovelorn's Trippy New "I-10" Video

Former Creepoid members made 'Deep Breaths' EP while in self-isolation

We're all dealing with social-distancing in different ways. Netflix binges. Zoom parties. Staring at the wall and tearing out our hair. While in self-isolation following a canceled tour, Anna and Patrick Troxell — a.k.a. one half of defunct shoegazers Creepoid, a.k.a. the entirety of their current project Lovelorn — made music, resulting in the new EP, Deep Breaths, an atmospheric, industrial-tinged exercise in a lysergic sound the duo call "drug pop." Lovelorn dropped Deep Breaths today, May 22nd, via 6131 Records — you can check it out in full here — and to underscore the release, they've teamed with Revolver to unveil the trippy music video for standout cut "I-10."

"Driving 30 hours straight home from a canceled tour due to a worldwide pandemic is something else," Patrick comments. "It's dark times and we only have each other. Our close friend, Tyler Hallett, made this video to help with our reaction towards the current situation." Watch the surreal, kaleidoscopic clip above.
