Eighteen Visions have premiered an over-the-top new music video for "Underneath My Gun," from their latest album XVIII. Directed by Michael R. Garcia and Michael Elinn of the Widow Brothers, the clip finds the California metalcore outfit paying homage to the classic Eighties cult film They Live with the help of some rubber masks, a few vats of fake blood ... oh yeah, and Every Time I Die guitarist Andy Williams, who serves as a stand-in for the film's alien-killing protagonist Nada (originally played by late wrestling legend Rowdy Roddy Piper). After driving around town, Williams' character pulls up to a shady-looking concert headlined by Eighteen Visions – or rather, their ghoulish counterparts.
The crowd might not see through the the band, but Williams — with his intergalactic x-ray sunglasses — sure as hell does. Needless to say, Eighteen Visions don't fare too well in the ensuing battle; after making quick work of the "band" with his trusty shotgun, Williams offs singer James Hart with a fearsome headshot. Clearly, the axeman's come to chew bubblegum and kick ass. And guess what? He's all out of bubblegum.
