Dave Grohl is a performer of the people — and for the people — and like all of us has his stumbles from time to time, except he usually happens to be caught on camera by fans. At a recent Foo Fighters gig at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Grohl was getting pretty loose and liberally moving around the stage, getting close to the audience.
While down there, one fan handed Grohl a beer, which he placed onto a speaker, and tried to drink without using his hands. It would have been a pretty great stunt, but he ended up spilling the beer all over the speaker, thusly picking it up and chugging it quick. In his speed, he stomped back up the stage, and made a misstep, falling back into the crowd. Security quickly helped him back up, he charged back to the stage, and all seemed to be okay (unlike the stage-fall incident that resulted in a broken leg three years ago). We admire his commitment to the beer, to the crowd, and to the performance. Cheers.
