Watch Foo Fighters Prank Swedish Crowd With Hilarious Stuntman Stage "Fall"

Dave Grohl enlists ringer for elaborate prank at Gothenberg venue where he broke leg three years prior

Foo Fighters pulled an elaborate prank on fans yesterday (June 5th) during their show at Gothenberg, Sweden's Ullevi Stadium – the venue where Dave Grohl suffered a nasty onstage fall and broke his leg three years prior. The beginning of their set found the band trotting out a stuntman dressed as Dave Grohl, who went on to recreate the frontman's June 12th, 2015 tumble into the security pit separating the stage from the audience. Just when the crowd feared that all was lost, the real Grohl joined his fellow Foos onstage, where he finished out the set with both legs intact.

Naturally, the band filmed the whole stunt for posterity's sake.

Foo Fighters are set to return North America for a run of summer tour dates this July. Check out a full list of dates here.

In related Foos news, the band stopped by "Ellen" last month to deliver a surging performance of "The Line," off last year's album Concrete and Gold. Check that out below.
