Seeing Gojira is an engulfing, transformative experience as any lucky concert-goers who made the pilgrimage to the French technical progressive metallers' impressive live show will tell you. For those not so fortunate, there's now a beautifully shot, professional video of the band's entire one hour and 16 minute set from 2018's Pol'And'Rock Festival, a free event that takes place at the start of every August in Kostrzyn nad Odrą in western Poland.
The entrancing, disjointed riffs are perfectly timed with the enormous light and smoke show for an unforgettable stage production. As the band members menacingly loom in the shadows of the staccato strobes, the enormous crowd moshes, raises their Gojira flags, and undulates in unison to each crushing track. Wider shots pan out to show the abject magnitude of the event, cutting back in to catch intimate close-ups of the group as they rip through song after song spanning their 20+ year career.
