Watch Hardcore Act God Complex Explore "Dark Nature of Humanity" in Grim New Video

"Breeding Filth," from upcoming 'Created Sick' EP, was inspired by chemical weapons attack on Syrian town

Gritty hardcore act God Complex have premiered their new music video for the previously released single, "Breeding Filth." This two-and-a-half minute ripper was largely influenced by a news article on the chemical weapons attack on the Syrian town of Khan Shaykhun in early 2017, allegedly carried out by President Bashar al-Assad's regime. Guitarist Kyle Holt said, "Initially, focused on war atrocities, the track grew into a more encompassing commentary on the dark nature of humanity and how it shapes the world we live in."

"The video is a statement that goes hand in hand with the track's subject matter. It's also an invitation to those who are angry about the current state of the world to stop passively accepting what they see; to let out their anger."

The track comes off the upcoming Created Sick EP, due October 5th via Venn Records. Produced by Loathe's Erik Bickerstaffe, the Merseyside, England-based quartet's release lyrically explores these political messages and conflicts and much more.
