Iowa's Saul are a band on the rise. Earlier this year, the alt-metal group — lead singer Blake Bedsaul and his brother, guitarist Zach Bedsaul, as well as bassist William McIlravy and drummer Joe Nichols — had a No. 1 hit on SiriusXM Octane with the song "Brother," and they were voted by Revolver readers as one of the "5 Bands Most Likely to Breakout in 2019." Signed to Spinefarm Records, the quartet are hard at work on their debut full-length for the label; ahead of that, they dropped a furious new single, "Trial by Fire," a week and a half ago, and today, November 26th, they've teamed with Revolver to unleash the cut's pyrotechnic music video.

"During the writing and recording process of our new album and for this song, my brother and I saw our mother put on hospice for brain and lung cancer," singer Blake Bedsaul says of the single and its conflagrant visual. "We felt a deep inner struggle to focus on creating the best record we could while being home to care for her. This song is about that mind struggle. We wanted the video to reflect the song itself. Chaos, fire, struggle, rage. I think we nailed it and we had a blast shooting it!"
