Ukrainian metal stars celebrate one-year anniversary of breakthrough festival set

One year ago, Ukrainian progressive metal upstarts Jinjer were onstage at Wacken Open Air festival, blowing minds with their slamming, soaring brand of djent-inflected heaviosity. One of the group's most highly viewed videos ever — at 3.2 million views and counting — is their performance of "Perennial" from that show, and now, to commemorate the anniversary, the band has offered up another clip from the concert, for their most popular song to date, "Pisces." Watch it above.

For  more Jinjer, check out their October 2019 performance at New York City's Gramercy Theatre, which was captured by Revolver's own film crew. Over the course of an exuberant hour-long set, vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk and Co. tore through such crushing songs as "Judgement (& Punishment)" (off their latest album Macro) and "Ape" (off last January's EP Micro).
