Watch King Woman's Haunting, Surreal "Manna" Video

Doomgaze outfit's latest video is fantastical journey from swamp to sea

Bay Area doomgaze outfit King Woman released their debut full-length, Created in the Image of Suffering, back in February. Today, we're pleased to premiere their new music video for the haunting album highlight "Manna.'" Directed by New Orleans-based arts collective Huemid Haus, the black-and-white visual follows a young woman who rises up from the bog one day, and embarks on a surreal, barefoot journey through swamps and forests, encountering mysterious figures and dark magic along the way.

"I've wanted to collaborate with Humid Haus for a very long time, and I was blown away when they unveiled the final version of 'Manna' to us," says vocalist Kristina Esfandiari. "These visuals truly bring the song to life in a way that both expands and conforms to our original vision."
