One of the best parts of Halloween is seeing what your favorite musician is dressing up as, and if they're doing anything special in the spirit of the holiday. Mike Shinoda is really living the Halloween spirit this year: he not only dressed up, but changed up his set just for the occasion.
For the October 30th date of his solo show in Las Vegas, Shinoda went for the real heart of hip-hop by dressing up as Run-DMC, full Adidas tracksuit, giant chain, bucket hat and all. On top of the costume, he actually opened up the set doing a cover of their hit "It's Tricky," going all in on the classic while his band backed him up. Also at the show, he was joined by Linkin Park bassist Dave Phoenix Farrell who backed him up on some of the band's hits. All in all, a good way to celebrate the occasion. See it all below.
The incredibly, stupidly hysterical Halloween Intro, which probably helped with my emotional status of my first #PostTraumaticTour show of the west coast run. pic.twitter.com/9MGbBjBNFl
