Metallica led Manchester fans in a spirited sing-along of Oasis' "Don't Look Back in Anger" during their concert Saturday night (October 28th) at England's Manchester Arena, the same venue struck by suicide bombers at an Ariana Grande concert on May 22nd. The song, off Oasis' seminal (What's the Story) Morning Glory? LP emerged as a symbol of recovery for Manchester in the aftermath of the terrorist attack, with covers from Coldplay, U2, Grande and, of course, the Gallaghers themselves. Drummer Lars Ulrich subsequently uploaded footage of the Big Four thrashers' performance to Twitter, with the caption "What a moment!! Goosebumps," further signaling the band's statement of solidarity with a slew of hashtags (#wearemanchester, #westandtogether, #welovemanchester and the like). Check out fan footage of Metallica's inspiring performance above.
