You probably give your best friends shit when they're the victim of schadenfreude, right? Well given how long Metallica's Lars Ulrich and Kirk Hammett have been friends, it's not surprising that to this day they love to mess with one another. At a recent Metallica gig in Sioux Falls, Kirk Hammett tripped up mid-performance and fell down. It's a pretty dramatic fall, though Kirk rolls out of it pretty quickly, and is on his feet in a matter of seconds to continue performing.
However, Ulrich decided to keep the shame train moving by later imitating Hammett's fall, by fake-collapsing later that night, and getting back on his feet, laughing at Hammett. Ulrich eventually posted the entire exchange on Instagram, fake fall included. What are friends for, right?
