Watch Nine Inch Nails Cover David Bowie's "I'm Afraid of Americans" at Tour Kickoff

Plus, see Trent Reznor and Co. play "God Break Down the Door" live for first time ever

It's no secret that Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails have been inspired by the fearlessness of David Bowie, an admiration that played out in a series of collaborations and an opening stint on Bowie's Outside Tour in the Nineties. Reznor and Co. are still honoring Bowie, most recently performing his song "I'm Afraid of Americans" at their first 2018 show in Las Vegas last night (June 14th). Nine Inch Nails contributed to the 1997 single's "V1" version, and Reznor appeared in its music video. Twenty-one years after that release, Reznor's vocals sound excellent in this live clip, and all of the original's synth sounds ring razor sharp.

Elsewhere in their Vegas set, Nine Inch Nails played their new song "God Break Down the Door" for the first time. The cut is the lead single from their upcoming album Bad Witch. Check it out that performance below.
