Watch Ozzy's Fun New Animated Video for "It's a Raid" With Post Malone

Black Sabbath studio story behind song comes to life

One of the highlights of Ozzy Osbourne's last solo album, 2020's Ordinary Man, was the raucous up-tempo rager "It's a Raid" featuring pop hit-maker, unabashed metal fan and insatiable tattoo collector Post Malone. The real-life story behind the song comes to life in the cut's new animated music video. "It's a Raid" tells the tale of Ozzy accidentally activating a security alarm and summoning the cops to a drugged-out studio session for Black Sabbath's Vol. 4 back in 1972. Watch the clip above and, below, see Ozzy recall the episode in a chat with SiriusXM.

Osbourne is reportedly well into the creation of a follow-up to Ordinary Man, wity producer and guitarist Andrew Watt (Post Malone, Dua Lipa) once again behind the boards. The record, which would be the Sabbath vocalist's 13th solo album, will also feature contributions from Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo as well as Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.
