Watch Rammstein Take on Colonialism With NSFW New "Ausländer" Music Video

German industrialists' cheeky ode to international one-night stands gets biting cinematic visual

Back with the third of five planned videos in support of their latest, untitled full-length, Rammstein have dropped the cinematic "Ausländer" clip today (May 28th), which presents the German pyromaniacs' vision in typically over-the-top fashion. Directed by relative music video newcomer Antonio Paladino, the funny yet biting short film puts a sociopolitical spin on the tune's cheeky suggestive lyrics — which outline the story of a globe-trotting lothario — portraying the band members as ham-fisted, exploitative colonialists.

The band's new LP — its first record in 10 years — was released on Friday, May 17th. Previous singles "Deutschland" and "Radio" have already raked in over 87 million views combined on YouTube, solidifying the group's reigning status as one of the biggest heavy-music acts in the world.

The sextet kicked off its European arena tour last night at Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, and premiered several of their newest cuts live. Look here for a list of coming tour dates, and see below to watch Rammstein's performance of "Ausländer" from yesterday's tour kickoff. No word yet on U.S. shows.
