Watch Smashing Pumpkins Rip Through "Solara" and "Zero" on 'Fallon'

Alt-rock icons deliver first public performance since reuniting this spring

The Smashing Pumpkins were musical guests on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon last night (June 11th), tearing through their latest single "Solara," as well as their 1995 classic "Zero." The dramatically lit renditions marked the first public performance from founding members Billy Corgan, James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin since the trio's reunion earlier this year. Watch them do the former song above, and the latter ripper below.

The late-night appearance comes ahead of Smashing Pumpkins' upcoming Shiny and Oh So Bright tour, which kicks off July 12th in Glendale, Arizona. Original bassist D'Arcy Wretzky will not be participating in that North American trek.
