It's no secret that we at Revolver love U.K. death-metal act Venom Prison. The band's debut, 2016's Animus (which was reissued earlier this month), is extreme music at its best — savage, pissed off, technically inspired yet subtly hooky and, best of all, full of message and meaning, not just camp and gore. Live, the group pushes things even further, fueled by frontwoman Larissa Lupar's intense stage presence. Venom Prison show off that live prowess in their new music video, for Animus cut "Devoid," which you can watch above. The band will hit U.S. shores for the first time this spring on the Devastation on the Nation Tour with Aborted, Psycroptic and more.
